I go by Jay and I’m a street photographer based out of Indianapolis, IN. I received my first camera in 2016 and began my journey of photography and exploring the many places it could take me. I started out taking photos of things around me from the candle on my desk to raindrops on my bedroom window. This depth of field study intrigued me and I made my way outside to architecture and street scenes in my downtown area.

Through the evolution of my craft, I noticed a pattern, a feel, a story of what modern day society looks like. I get a thrill when I capture the right moment for a photo. I am inspired to tell the story of people I meet, places I go, and things I experience. Welcome to my candid portfolio influenced by everyday life.
